Teach Feed Succeed

The #CHRSCcommunitygarden is an extension of Carolina Human Reinvestment (South Carolina), a youth mentoring and after school program whose mission is to

"Identify and serve the need of the youth and their families in our community "

The volunteer driven community garden is located in Pawleys Island, South Carolina and serves communities in Georgetown County. Less than two years old, it boasts an acre of vegetable, fruit, and herb gardens. We also provide a space for youth mentoring, education, and volunteerism, instilling healthy life skills with a sense of meaningful living. All our harvested vegetables are donated to local food programs and food sharing.

Our plans for the future include teaming with health care systems, restaurants, educators, and area artists in order to create both live and virtual educational programs on healthy lifestyles. By teaching conservational, ecological, and gardening principles we plan to serve as an educational platform for our youth and the community.

About

CAROLINA HUMAN REINVESTMENT
COMMUNITY GARDEN was established in 2000 by Jane Doe as a means of creating a more engaged community and practicing advanced gardening techniques in order to provide more access to local produce. We’re a local organization that works towards bringing the community of San Francisco together by working hard towards a healthy and sustainable garden that everyone can benefit from. We hope you’ll join us soon!
